Minimizing Vaccine Side Effects

This post is more timely than ever with a vaccine for COVID 19 in the works and the agenda of Bill Gates and others to create a mandatory worldwide vaccine tracking program

I am not going to get into the vaccine debate nor share data and research that you don’t hear about from mainstream news.

Because of all the news around measles and vaccines and some changes in vaccine mandates, I wanted to share a supplement protocol to help support your immune system and your detox pathways when you do get a vaccine, whether it is by choice or mandated.

The point of this article is to support your body when you do get a vaccine to avoid any short term or long- term reactions. Vaccines are not fool proof and 100% safe, so it is best to support the body before you receive an injection or as in the case of your child, multiple and many injections at once.

The reason to support the body is because when you get injected with a virus, you are getting the virus but whatever else is also in that vaccine. It can contain neurotoxins (mercury, MSG, aluminum), carcinogens (formaldehyde), antibiotics, detergents, foreign DNA, live and mutated viruses. And that is just from one vaccine. Most children and babies are getting multiple vaccines at once.

Here is a list of each vaccine and its ingredients from the CDC.

Diet for Vaccine Safety

While I cannot find any data or research to support the benefits of a healthy whole foods diet prior to vaccines, I think it is common sense that one would want to support their immune function and detox pathways as much as possible before getting any shots. However, I was that person who did not have this common sense when younger, so I think it is worth mentioning.

Since we all are unique individuals, there is no one right diet, but all of us should be consuming a diet rich in vegetables, leafy greens and some fruit along with quality proteins and healthy fats with only a limited amount of processed foods. Make it organic whenever you can. If you can afford to go 100% organic (most of us cannot), then this is the best route to take to avoid pesticides and herbicides on your food. (sadly, even organic will have some contaminants on it but much less than conventional produce).

You can drink some white tea up to 4 times daily on the day before, day of and day after as it can help to prevent any abnormal immune reactions.

Add in celery, parsley and cilantro into the diet on the days before, during and after the vaccine.

If you are reading this because your baby will need vaccines, then the key is to support your body while your baby is in the womb, and then breast feed while on a whole foods diet if you can.

Key Supplements for Vaccine Injury Side Effects

I am not giving any dose ranges for babies and children as the dosing will vary and a parent should consult with a nutritionist or other holistic health professional and not do this on your own.

Also, opt for quality products. Do not buy from amazon and please seek out a reputable nutritionist or a health store for your products. Cheaper products/big box products have been shown to not contain what they say on the label.

If it is not stated how and when to take each supplement, then take for the day before, day of and day after the vaccine.

Probiotics: Some kids after vaccinations will get eczema, ear infections, arthritis, diabetes, GI issues so it is important to have the gut microbiome in a good place prior to vaccines and to continue this. While it may be difficult to associate these conditions with a vaccine reaction, all these health issues need gut support. Personally, I think this is a supplement we should all be taking on-going. Most of these products can be opened and added to children’s food or a veggie smoothie. My personal favorite is Megaspore from Microbiome Labs. If you know your gut health is in poor shape, whether from diet, NSAIDS, antibiotics and so forth, it might be best to do a gut healing protocol for several months prior to a vaccine.

Omega 3 Essential Fatty Acids: Taking fish oil before an injection of an adjuvant, called LPS (lipopolysaccharide) can help block the ability of the LPS to cause brain inflammation. If you are not already taking a quality omega 3 EPA/DHA supplement, then start one day prior, continue the day of and the day after. The dose on the day of vaccine take one-hour prior. You may need to double up your fish oil dose on these three days only. My personal favorite is MEgaOmega from Microbiome Labs

Curcumin: Take this for its anti-inflammatory properties. Curcumin has been found to block the ability of the adjuvants to trigger a long- term reaction. For adults, take 750 mg. once per day for the day before, day of and day after. On the day of the vaccine, try to take it around one hour prior to your appointment. My personal favorite is CuraPro from Euromedica.

Vitamin E: Look for one that is high in gamma-E and this will help to reduce the immune reaction and reduce inflammation. My from personal favorite is Annato-E 300 from Designs For Health

Calcium: Normally, I would not suggest to anyone to take a calcium supplement as it has been shown to be ineffective on its own for bone support and supplementation can contribute to heart disease. But in this case, take a calcium supplement right before you walk into your doctor’s office. Hold the tablet under your tongue briefly before swallowing.

Zinc: If deficient in zinc, it may be helpful to add in a zinc supplement for the three days as zinc is protective against vaccine toxicity. Do not take one that also has copper. If you are taking a multivitamin that has zinc, take a multivitamin that is copper and iron free for the days surrounding your vaccine. Your multi vitamin should also contain B vitamins and selenium.

Homeopathic remedies: Take Thuja Occidentalis 30C right after the vaccine (bring it with you along with the ice pack and calcium), and then take two more doses- one 12 hours later and one 24 hours after the vaccine. Put the pellets under your tongue and avoid drinking water, eating, sucking on cough drop or lozenge for 15 minutes before and after taking the remedy. You should be able to find this remedy at your local health store and if not, then online.

Vitamin C: This will help support the immune system and can be helpful to counteract any damage from heavy metals, chemicals and toxins that are in a vaccine. For kids you can choose a chewable or a liposomal form. For an adult, use a high dose of vitamin C of 3,000 to 5,000 mg per day for the day before, day of and day after and then can back down to 500-1000 mg per day. Take this amount in 1,000 mg divided doses throughout the day. Ideally take in liposomal or buffered form and avoid for this use in the ascorbic acid form if you can but if not, ascorbic is better than taking none at all. For Liposomal products my personal favorite is Quicksilver Scientific.

Vitamin A: Use this if getting the MMR vaccine. Even the WHO gives out vitamin A along with the vaccine. An adult dose of 5,000 IU the day before, day of and day after the vaccine. I know you may have heard that high doses of vitamin A is toxic but for three days at this dose it is safe,  but still always best to work with a health professional.  (take Vitamin A not beta carotene in this instance)

Use Quercetin, a flavonoid, that has been found to block the ability of the adjuvants to trigger a long-term immune reaction. Take an hour prior to the vaccine and continue for one week after the vaccine. Also add in apples and onions into the diet as they are rich in quercetin.

Vitamin D3: This can help to keep the immune reaction after vaccination under control. Adults take 20,000 IU a day for two weeks after the vaccination. Then drop down to 10,000 IU for two weeks, then drop down to your usual vitamin D dose (typically in the 1,000 to 5,000 IU range for most but this depends on blood work levels). My favorite brand is Biotech Pharmacal.

Heavy Metal Detox:  Since heavy metals will be injected directly into your blood stream it would be wise to reduce your heavy metal load prior to a vaccine.  According to Vaccines & Immunity (2015) a medical, pro-vaccine text book,  “In the case of aluminum, only ~0.25%of dietary aluminum is absorbed into systemic circulation and it is rapidly filtered by the kidneys in those with healthy kidney function.  In contrast, Aluminum hydroxide (the most common adjuvant form) injected intramuscularly may be absorbed at nearly 100% efficiency over time and follows a completely different route in the body (i.e: accumulation in other organs including the spleen and the brain).     For this reason, I would do a heavy metal chelating protocol for one to three months prior to the vaccine and for another month to three months afterwards as well.  Ian  like the the CytoDetox brand of product but you may find some other high quality ones as well. Don’t go cheap on this one, and make sure to do your homework and use a reputable product.

Magnesium: Take 1000 mg three times per day, the day before, day of and day after. Avoid magnesium citrate as at high doses it can cause loose bowels. Instead magnesium malate or add magnesium bath flakes to your bath water. This is a great way for kids to get transdermal magnesium. Choose magnesium bath flakes not Epsom salt. Magnesium is another one of those supplements that I think most of us need on an ongoing basis. However, the type matters.  Here is more information on magnesium http://trufoodsnutrition.com/the-one-mineral-you-need-to-be-taking/

In Addition to Supplements

Add in:

Hydration: May seem obvious but it is important to stay hydrated before and after the vaccines to help flush out toxins. Maintain hydration before a vaccine so you don’t go into a doctor appointment dehydrated.

Ice: Take one with you to the doctor office. As soon as you are done getting your shot, apply the ice pack to the injection site. This will help to prevent the ingredients from spreading into the blood stream and surrounding tissue. Continue to use the ice pack during that day.

Avoid

Avoid Tylenol if at all possible, for fever and pain. I know when my kids were young, they gave the baby/toddler Tylenol right there in the office right after the vaccines. The problem is that acetaminophen, found in Tylenol, reduces glutathione and you need adequate glutathione levels to help eliminate toxins.

Dr. Blaylock, MD states to avoid whey protein powder, beta-glucan and mushroom extracts on the day of your vaccine as these are all immune stimulating supplements.  Beta glucan can be found in barley, oats, whole grains, Reishi mushrooms, seaweed and algae. These are all healthy foods but best to stay away on the day of your vaccine.

Avoid foods that contain mercury on the three days around your vaccine such as swordfish, shark, salmon, canned tuna and king mackerel.

Avoid refined oils such as corn, safflower, sunflower, soybean, canola and peanut oils as these can suppress immunity and increase inflammation.

Bottom Line

Some of these supplements you may already be taking, and you may already avoid inflammatory sources such as processed and refined oils, so you are already off to a great start. But in my opinion, it is better to be safe than sorry and I know if I must get a vaccine, say for travel to another country, I will follow this protocol. If I could go back in time with my own children, I know as well I would do things very differently and use this protocol as well.
