Seasonal Fruits and Vegetables

Seasonal Eating is important for our health. Eating what is in season and ideally sourced locally means the food will retain more nutrients and antioxidants and will be a greater benefit for your health.

Eating foods that are in season also means that they will taste better.

Try to follow SOUL.  Sustainable food, organic, unrefined and local as much as possible for optimal health.

Our ancestors ate what was in season and what grew in their surroundings. We should still be doing the same.  Stick with cooler and raw dishes in warmer temperatures and more starches and warming dishes in colder months.  Your body will thank you!
